Beginning the year 2014 I lived one of the darkest periods in my life while pursuing my goals. For years, I struggled to pay for living expenses, with sleep disorders, with depression, and suffered a shoulder dislocation injury, but I always found the persistence to make it to the gym. For me the gym was a place where I could cope with life’s struggles and prepare, both mentally and physically, for whatever obstacles life had lined up for me.  In 2021, after accomplishing my goal of graduating with a Master’s degree my older brother gave me a congratulations card that read, “You are the true definition of resilient.”  Driven by my passion for fitness, I sought to start a fitness apparel brand that could embody the meaning of being resilient.  In 2022, I was finally ready to pursue my vision and using my brother’s words, Resil Athletics was born!
